Post-Ice Age: Action / Reaction is BHZA’s speculative research universe exploring what happens when architecture is no longer an object, but a metabolic participant within planetary systems. Set on a thermally fragile, post-ice Earth, the project examines how intervention, survival, and adaptation generate unintended ecologies. Three forces—off-world returners, post-ice symbiotic beings, and an emergent regulatory lifeform—interact not as heroes or villains, but as rational actors within shifting environmental gradients. Structured through multiple narrative lenses (hard science, mythic cinema, and layered conflict), the project demonstrates BHZA’s commitment to systems thinking, architectural intelligence, and the ethical consequences of building within living environments.
